Silarith
Real Name: Silarith (Sill-ah-rith)
Common Name: The Mirror
Domains: Illusion, Emotion, Secrets, Dreams
Visibility: Only appears during crescent or gibbous phases, and only at twilight, never at midnight or noon. Said to reflect the observer’s state of mind more than light.
Proximity: Far orbit. Appears small in the sky but unnaturally vivid, its presence feels felt, not seen.
Appearance: A pale, silver-blue crescent with a shimmering, liquid-like surface. Often mistaken for a mirage. Appears to ripple when viewed directly, and its reflection is never accurate.
Mythic Role: Thought to be the moon of inner truth. Some believe Silarith is not a moon at all, but a veil, one side facing reality, the other hiding the collective subconscious of Nexora. Mediums and prophets revere it.
Mechanical Influence: While The Mirror is visible, illusion spells last 50% longer and have +2 DC. Dream-based or emotion-reading effects grant the caster advantage on Insight or Sense Motive checks. However, saving throws against illusions are also rolled twice, taking the worse result.
Tied Realms or Moons: Linked to the Reflecting Deep; a psychic realm where dreams pool and occasionally leak into the waking world. Travelers risk losing themselves to “mirrored selves.”
