Navareth

Real Name: Navareth (Nah-vah-reth)

Common Name: The Depth

Domains: Water, Memory, Secrets, the Unknown

Visibility: Primarily visible along coastlines, especially during low tide or funerals. Inland, it is seen only during deep fog or mourning. Appears to “submerge” below the horizon at dawn.

Proximity: Far orbit. Though small to the eye, its gravitational influence is immense, responsible for the tidal rhythm of both sea and soul.

Appearance: A dark indigo moon veined with glowing teal lines, like bioluminescent trenches. Appears to shimmer like it's underwater even in a clear sky. Often accompanied by strange whispering wind.

Mythic Role: Sailors call it the Tidecaller. Elders say it holds the memories of all who’ve passed beneath the waves. Some claim Navareth remembers more than it should, and sometimes *returns* memories that were lost for a reason.

Mechanical Influence: While The Depth is visible, all divination and memory-related spells cost 1 less mana. Underwater creatures gain +1 morale to attack rolls and saving throws. Water terrain becomes harder to navigate magically (DCs +5).

Tied Realms or Moons: Linked to the Subnaeth Trench, an extradimensional realm of silence, pressure, and echo. Only those who bear forgotten memories may enter willingly.

"She listens beneath the waves, not to guide you, but to remember the day you stopped swimming." - Whalebone Epics, Volume VI
